Why Work With Us?

Whether it’s a completely new system or a system upgrade, it is critically important that these systems are constructed, commissioned, and operated in a manner that encourages the system to meet or exceed its useful life.  Asset Protection Group was established for this very reason.  We help water system owners (1) preserve the life of both existing and newly constructed water infrastructure systems and (2) reduce the frequency of costly repairs.

The majority of construction projects receive ample amounts of attention during the design and construction phases. However, once construction is complete the focus shifts to production with little (we’d argue “no”) attention given to warranty management. This is where APG steps in. We provide the unique services that have historically been unavailable to end users. Our process results in higher quality projects with less costly repairs and longer life expectancies. We offer first-class service with our client’s interests as the top priority.

The key component of our services is the development, implementation and management of an Operation Compliance Plan (OCP).  The OCP is a proactive customized plan capturing the maintenance and inspection requirements for each individual component (asset) in the system. Once developed and implemented, we provide management support to the end user in various forms including scheduling, reminder notifications, and record keeping. The result is a facility with improved reliability, enhanced operations, intact warranties, and a solid record of all maintenance and inspections.

Properly drafted warranty specifications can reduce the life-cycle cost of facilities

Asset management has the potential to identify problems in their infancy prior to maturing into large, costly issues.

Personnel constraints may play a role in the decision making of the end user. We often find that Asset Management Plans are not implemented or executed due to lack of manpower. With our experience and provided services, we can support operations personnel with effectively managing their assets.
